Finland have lost their last two matches by a combined 6-3; San Marino have not won a game of any kind since November 2024. Both arrive at Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle short of confidence, but for very different reasons, when they meet in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday.
San Marino play Finland on Saturday, 26 September 2026, with kick-off at 17:00 BST at the Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle. The match is part of the UEFA Nations League, with San Marino playing their first game back at this level after promotion from League D.

San Marino have not beaten anyone since a 3-1 win over Liechtenstein in November 2024, and nothing in their recent games suggests that is about to change. They drew 1-1 with the Faroe Islands and 0-0 with Andorra in March, then lost their two most recent friendlies, 1-2 to Bangladesh and 1-2 to Azerbaijan in June. Roberto Cevoli's side scored in three of those four games. They just could not stop conceding at the other end.
Finland's form has also dipped. Jacob Friis's side beat New Zealand 2-0 in March and drew 1-1 with Cabo Verde days later, but their last two outings both ended in defeat: 4-0 away to Germany in May and 2-1 to Hungary in June. That run means Finland go into this game as the side that was relegated from League B last season, now needing a reset of their own in League C.
