Frequently Asked Questions

Each market has its own daily allowance: 8 Correct Score picks a day, and 12 a day on each other market. It resets at midnight UK time.

Picks that never use it: every pick on a bonus match (featured matches and matches with a match leaderboard), every pick on the match you put a Free Match award on, and free goalscorer picks after you call a match's first goalscorer.

Getting picks back: removing a pick you placed today hands it straight back, and the Reset Daily, Reset Correct Score, Reset Goalscorer and Reset Next Team awards give you a fresh allowance.

Yes. Anything you placed today can be removed right up until the match kicks off, and the daily pick goes straight back for you to use on something else.

Older picks can't be removed. That pick was charged to the day you placed it, so handing the slot back today would be creating a pick out of nothing - and if everyone did it on repeat, the daily limit would stop meaning anything.

You can still change an older pick though, any time before kick-off - pick a different scoreline, a different scorer, whatever. Changing never costs you another pick.

So: same day, remove it or change it. Older, change it.

Only on the day you placed it.

A pick is charged to the day you place it. Remove it that same day and the slot comes straight back for something else.

From the next day on, it can't be removed. That day's allowance is gone, so handing the pick back today would be creating one out of nothing - and people could bank picks all week and spend them on one Saturday.

You can still change it any time before kick-off - different scoreline, different scorer, whatever. Changing never costs you another pick.

Removing a pick from a bonus match, or from the match you used a Free Match on, gives you nothing back, because those picks never used your allowance in the first place.

Removed one today and your counter hasn't moved? Pull to refresh or reload the page. The slot is already back on your account - it's only the number on screen that can lag.

Because the daily limit caps how many picks you place per day, not how many can sit pending at once. There are a few ways a big stack builds up:

Stacking future matches. The most common one. Someone using their allowance every day on fixtures weeks out will have dozens of open predictions, while someone who only plays today's games has a handful. Same allowance, different habit.

Bonus matches and Free Matches are free. Picks on them never touch your daily limit, so a player working through the bonus matches can place plenty more without using anything up.

Same-day picks can be swapped. Remove a pick you placed today and it returns to today's allowance to spend elsewhere, so someone active can work through more of the card. (Picks from earlier days can't be removed - only changed.)

Awards. Reset Daily and the single-market resets hand a full day's allowance back.

None of it is an unfair advantage - everybody gets the same allowance every single day.

• After kick-off - it has to be set before the match starts.
• On a bonus match (featured, boosted points or a match leaderboard prize) - those already carry something extra. If a match becomes a bonus match after you've boosted it, your boost comes back automatically and you get a notification.
• On a match that already has your Specific Match Multiplier, the 10× award or a Free Match on it. One boost or award per match.
• On the odd match we can't run our live safety checks on. The boost just won't go on - pick another match and it's still yours.

1. Open any match that hasn't kicked off yet.
2. Tap Activate Boost.
3. Your correct score and first goalscorer picks on that match now earn triple points.

A free spin every week, on the Awards page. It resets for everyone at the same moment - Tuesday, 00:00 UK time - not seven days after your last spin. And every spin wins something - there are no blanks on it.

Points land on your total and this season's leaderboard straight away. Everything else arrives as an award on your Awards page, so you can save it for a day it actually helps - but wheel awards expire after 7 days. The £10 is the exception: it never expires, but you need to contact support within 5 days. It's real, and it's extremely rare.

Topping a match leaderboard can win you a Free Spin - an extra spin on top of your weekly one. The wheel always uses your weekly spin first and only uses a Free Spin once that's gone. A Free Spin lasts 24 hours.

Everything the wheel has ever given you is listed underneath it, so you can always check back.

1. Go to your Awards page.
2. Tap Spin on the wheel at the top.
3. If you win an award, it appears on the same page for you to use.

No, you're made whole automatically, and you'll get a notification telling you so.

Picks: the moment a match becomes a bonus match, every pick already on it stops using your daily limit - so those slots come straight back. Anything you placed on an earlier day is added to today's allowance instead, and expires at midnight UK time.

Weekly Boost and Specific Match Multiplier: if you'd put either on that match, you get it back to use somewhere else. Neither can be used on bonus matches, so leaving yours stuck on one wouldn't be fair.

Free Match: it would do nothing on a match that's already free, so it comes back too, as long as it hasn't passed its deadline.

A match leaderboard is a leaderboard for one match only. Everyone who predicts on that match is on it, ranked by the points they score on that match alone, across every market. Points from other matches, streaks, the wheel and anything else don't count toward it.

Whoever finishes top wins the prize that match is offering - it's shown on the match page before kick-off ("Winner gets..."), so you always know what you're playing for.

The points you score on the match still count toward your season total as normal. The match leaderboard prize is on top of that. And every pick on a match with a match leaderboard is free - it never uses your daily limit.

Two ways. The Special Bonus page lists every match with a special bonus on it right now, including every match leaderboard and what it pays. And on the match page itself, the match leaderboard is shown with what the winner gets, before kick-off.

1. Open the Special Bonus page (the banner on the matches list takes you there).
2. Pick a match and open it.
3. Make your picks on that match - that's all it takes to be on its leaderboard.

Score the most points on that match. That's it.

The board settles automatically a few minutes after full time, once every pick on the match has been graded. If anything is still being graded it waits and tries again, so late decisions are counted before a winner is picked. Whoever is top at that moment wins.

You need at least 1 point - if nobody scored any points on the match, nobody wins and the prize is void.

If you win an award you get a notification and it's waiting on your Awards page. A points multiplier prize needs nothing from you - it's added to your points automatically.

Each match leaderboard offers one prize, shown on the match page before kick-off. It can be:

• A points multiplier - your points from that match are multiplied (for example ×3). Added automatically when the board settles, nothing to use.
• Specific Match Multiplier - make one match of your choice pay X times on correct score and goalscorer.
• Free Match - one match where your picks don't count toward your daily limits.
• Free Spin - an extra spin of the wheel.
• Reset Boost - your weekly boost back.
• Reset Daily - today's pick allowance back on every market.
• Minus Opp - take points off a rival on the season leaderboard.
• Mystery Award - Reset Boost, Minus Opp or Reset Daily, picked at random.
• Cash Prize - real money.

Everything except the points multiplier is an award that lands on your Awards page for you to use - each one is explained in the Awards section below.

It depends on the prize. Joint winners each get the full prize - it's never split.

• Points multiplier: everyone tied at the top gets it, however many of you there are.
• Specific Match Multiplier: up to 2 joint winners. If 3 or more tie, it's void and nobody gets it.
• Everything else (Reset Boost, Reset Daily, Minus Opp, Mystery Award, Free Spin, Free Match, Cash Prize): up to 3 joint winners. If 4 or more tie, it's void.

So tie for a £10 cash prize with one other player and you both get £10. Tied winners of a Mystery Award all get the same perk.

Awards are prizes you hold and use when it suits you. They come from three places: topping a match leaderboard, the weekly wheel, and long prediction streaks.

Every award you win lands on your Awards page, and a celebration pops up on screen when you win one. Nothing fires by itself - you choose when to use each one. (The only exception is a Free Spin, which the wheel uses for you.)

Most awards expire, and each card shows exactly how long you have left. You'll get a reminder when one is close to running out. Cash prizes and Streak Paydays never expire. Used and expired awards stay listed further down the page so you can always check back.

2. Find the award's card - it shows what it does and how long you have.
3. Follow that award's steps below.

No - one per match. Only ONE of these can go on any one match:

• your Weekly Boost
• a Specific Match Multiplier
• the 10× award
• a Free Match

As soon as one of them is on a match, the others aren't offered on that match any more, and if you try anyway it's refused - nothing is used up. Put them on different matches instead.

It's one per match for you, not for everyone - other players can still use theirs on the same match.

1. Pick the match you want to use your best one on.
2. Use it there.
3. Open a different match to use the next one.

An X× Specific Match Multiplier (for example 5×) makes your correct score pick and every goalscorer pick on ONE match of your choice score X times the points. The X is shown on the card. It covers picks you'd already made on that match as well as the ones you make after.

Top a match leaderboard that's offering it. It can be shared by 2 joint winners at most - if 3 or more tie, it's void and nobody gets it.

Use it before the end of the season you won it in. The card shows the exact deadline.

• Any match that hasn't kicked off yet, as long as it's in the current season. Matches in a later season can't take picks yet, so they can't take this either.
• Not on bonus or featured matches - those are already worth extra.
• One per match: only ONE of your Weekly Boost, a Specific Match Multiplier, the 10x award or a Free Match can go on any one match. Once one is on a match, the others aren't offered there and won't go on - use them on a different match.
• Once it's on a match it can't be moved.
• If that match later becomes a bonus match, it's handed back to you automatically with a notification, so you can use it on another match.
• On the odd match we can't run our live safety checks on, it won't go on. Pick another match - your award is still yours.

1. Go to today's matches (Pick a match on the award's card takes you there).
2. Open any match that hasn't kicked off yet.
3. On the orange Specific Match Multiplier bar at the top, tap Use.
4. Make your correct score and goalscorer picks on that match - they now pay X times.

A Free Match makes your picks on ONE match of your choice stop counting toward your daily limits - on every market, including picks you've already made there, which hand their slots straight back.

Use it before the end of the season you won it in. The card shows the exact deadline.

• Any match that hasn't kicked off yet, as long as it's in the current season.
• Not on a match whose picks already don't count - featured and bonus matches, matches with a match leaderboard, or postponed matches - because it would do nothing there.
• One per match: only ONE of your Weekly Boost, a Specific Match Multiplier, the 10x award or a Free Match can go on any one match. Once one is on a match, the others aren't offered there and won't go on - use them on a different match.
• Once it's on a match it can't be moved.
• If that match later becomes a bonus match or gets postponed, it's handed back to you automatically with a notification (as long as it hasn't passed its deadline), so you can use it on another match.

3. On the blue Free Match bar at the top, tap Make this a Free Match.
4. Pick away - nothing you place on that match counts toward your daily limits.

A Free Spin is one extra spin of the wheel, on top of your weekly one. Every spin wins something, same as your weekly spin.

Top a match leaderboard that's offering it. Up to 3 joint winners each get one - if 4 or more tie, it's void.

24 hours from when you win it.

• The wheel always uses your weekly spin first, and only uses a Free Spin once that's gone - so it's never wasted while your weekly spin is still there.
• Haven't had this week's spin yet? Spin twice: the first is your weekly spin, the second uses the Free Spin.

1. Go to your Awards page (Spin the wheel on the award's card takes you straight to it).
2. Tap Spin on the wheel at the top.
3. If you'd already had this week's spin, that spin used your Free Spin. If you hadn't, tap Spin again to use it - within 24 hours of winning it.

Reset Boost gives you your weekly 3× boost back after you've used it, so you can put a second boost on another match in the same week.

Top a match leaderboard that's offering it (a Mystery Award can turn into one too), or land it on the weekly wheel.

From a match leaderboard or Mystery Award, it runs out at the end of the week - Monday 00:00 UK time, when weekly boosts reset. From the wheel you have 7 days. The card shows your exact time left.

• It only works once you've already used this week's boost - while your weekly boost is unused there's nothing to give back, so the button stays off.
• Once you tap Use, the extra boost stays on your account until you spend it. Your normal weekly boost is always used before it.
• The boost it gives you follows the normal Weekly Boost rules: 3× on your correct score and first goalscorer picks, set before kick-off, not on bonus matches, and not on a match that already has a multiplier.

1. Use your weekly boost on a match first.
2. Go to your Awards page and tap Use Reset Boost.
3. Open any match that hasn't kicked off and tap Activate Boost.

Reset Daily resets today's pick count on every market, so you get your full daily allowance back. The picks you've already made stay exactly as they are.

Top a match leaderboard that's offering it (a Mystery Award can turn into one too), or land it on the weekly wheel.

From a match leaderboard or Mystery Award, it runs out at midnight UK time on the day you win it - it resets a day, so it dies with that day. From the wheel you have 7 days. The card shows your exact time left.

• It puts you on exactly a full day's allowance. Any extra picks you'd been handed back for today (from removing older picks, say) are folded into it, not added on top.
• Your allowance resets at midnight UK time anyway, so use it on a day you've actually run out of picks.

1. Go to your Awards page and tap Use Reset Daily.
2. Go and make more picks - your counters are back to a full day on every market.

Minus Opp takes points off another player on the current season leaderboard - the one that pays cash. How many points is shown on the card.

Top a match leaderboard that's offering it, or open a Mystery Award that turns into one. It isn't on the wheel.

24 hours from when you win it.

• You pick the target. It can't be you, and they need points on this season's leaderboard.
• Each player can only be hit by one Minus Opp per season. Anyone already hit won't show up in the list until next season.
• It can't take anyone below zero - if they have fewer points than the award is worth, they drop to zero.
• The points come off their season total and their all-time total, and they're told it was you.

1. Go to your Awards page and tap Pick a target.
2. Search for the player and tap their name.
3. Tap Yes, do it. The points come off straight away.

A Mystery Award is one of three perks picked at random: Reset Boost, Minus Opp or Reset Daily. You find out which when you open it. It's never points or cash.

Top a match leaderboard that's offering a Mystery Award. Up to 3 joint winners each get one (4 or more ties voids it), and tied winners all get the same perk.

The clock starts when you win it, not when you open it, and it's the clock of whatever it turns into: Minus Opp gives you 24 hours, Reset Daily runs to midnight UK time that day, and Reset Boost runs to the end of the week (Monday 00:00 UK). Open it straight away so you don't get caught out.

• Once it's open it is exactly the award it turned into, with that award's rules.

A Cash Prize is real money for topping a match leaderboard that's offering one. The amount is on the card.

The card never expires, but contact support within 5 days of winning so we can sort your payment.

• It isn't paid automatically or instantly. We arrange the payment with you by hand once you get in touch.

1. Go to your Awards page and tap Use on the cash card - that tells us you're claiming it.
2. Within 5 days of winning, open the Help section and start a thread saying you won a match leaderboard cash prize, and on which match.
3. We'll reply in that thread and sort the payment with you.

Reset Correct Score resets today's Correct Score pick count, so you get your full daily Correct Score allowance back (8 picks). Other markets aren't touched, and the picks you've already made stay.

Reset Streak Cap gives you a fresh streak allowance toward this season's leaderboard. Your daily streak bonus only counts toward the season (cash) leaderboard up to a cap each season (750 by default) - after that it only grows your all-time total. This award restarts that count from zero, so your next daily bonuses count toward the season again, up to a full cap. The streak bonuses you've already had stay.

Land it on the weekly wheel.

7 days from when you win it.

• It's worth the most once you've hit this season's cap, or are close to it.

1. Go to your Awards page and tap Use Reset Streak Cap.
2. Keep your streak going - from your next daily bonus, it counts toward the season leaderboard again.

They aren't really awards - the points land on your total the moment you spin, and count toward this season's leaderboard too. There's nothing to use and nothing to expire.

Land 50 or 100 points on the weekly wheel.

Nothing expires - the points are yours as soon as you spin.

1. Spin the wheel on your Awards page.
2. That's it - the points are added straight away.

Streak Payday puts bonus points straight onto the current season leaderboard - the one that wins cash - and onto your all-time total.

Reach a 25-day prediction streak (worth 50 points), a 50-day streak (125 points) or a 100-day streak (250 points). Each is a separate award, so going from day 1 to day 100 earns all three. Lose your streak and build it back up, and you earn them again.

It never expires.

• TUESDAYS ONLY (UK time) - the day a new season opens - so the points go in right at the start of a season.
• You choose which season, but only one Streak Payday per season. Holding more than one? The rest wait for later seasons' Tuesdays.
• On any other day the card shows why it's locked and when you can use it.

1. Wait for a Tuesday (UK time).
2. Go to your Awards page and tap Use Streak Payday.
3. The points land on this season's leaderboard straight away.

Because the leaderboard ranks points, not wins. Your win/loss record isn't the currency - it's just a tally.

Calls pay differently. A correct score is worth far more than most other calls, and a goalkeeper scoring pays more than a forward. A few big calls beats a pile of small ones every time.

And plenty of points have nothing to do with wins at all:

the Weekly Boost · bonus matches with multiplied points · topping a match leaderboard · awards · daily streak bonuses · sharing a pick · the weekly wheel · the signup bonus.

So two players with the exact same number of wins can be hundreds of points apart, and someone with fewer wins can sit well above you.

Which is why trying to work your position out mathematically from wins and losses won't come out right - there are too many moving parts feeding the total. Your points breakdown is on your profile if you want to see exactly where yours came from.

CalledItMate isn't an anonymous company hiding behind a logo. My name and my face are all over this site, I go live on camera doing football watchalongs, and I've spent five years building this community in public. I wouldn't put myself out there like that if I didn't pay.

Every season's winners are paid directly by me, by PayPal, bank transfer or crypto, within 7 days of the season closing. That week is me checking every point so the final table is right before any money goes out. The running total paid out to players is on the Prizes page.

Yes - that's the plan.

In the future there will be an option to play for money: paid-entry leaderboards you can join for a small fee. Every entry feeds the pot, so those boards will carry much bigger prize pools than the free leaderboard can support on its own.

They'll be completely optional and will run alongside the free leaderboard, not instead of it. The free game stays free, keeps its own prizes, and you never have to pay to compete.

There's no date on it yet. Until then, everything here is free and the prize money comes straight out of Denver's own pocket.
