What is CalledItMate?

CalledItMate is a free live football prediction game. You predict goalscorers, correct scores and key match moments across the world's biggest leagues - in real time, as the action happens. Predictions & Points

How do predictions work?

CalledItMate has nine prediction markets, split into pre-match and live in-play. The pre-match markets lock before kick-off: Correct Score, Half Result, Highest Scoring Half, Corners (over/under per half), Shots on Target (over/under per half), Most Possession and First Team Booked. Second-half lines - Second Half Result and the second-half Corners and Shots markets - lock at half-time instead. Goalscorer and Next Team to Score are rolling in-play markets: after each goal both reset and you make a fresh call on who scores next and which team scores next, right up to the final whistle. Points are credited the instant the game confirms your call - not at full time.

What is a goalscorer prediction?

Goalscorer is a rolling in-play market. Before each goal you pick which player you think scores next. Lock in your call from the listed players for either team. If that player scores, you earn points. Once a goal goes in, the market resets and a new prediction window opens for the next goal. The earlier you get your call in before a goal happens, the better.

How is the first goalscorer bonus calculated (double & triple)?

When you've correctly called the first goalscorer, every goal he goes on to score earns you points - and the amount doubles each goal, capping at a hat-trick:
His goalYou earn2× match
1st (opener)1020
2nd (brace)2040
3rd (hat-trick)4080
It stops there - a 4th goal adds nothing. These add up on your one pick across the match, so a hat-trick is worth 10 + 20 + 40 = 70 (140 on a 2× match).Re-pick him too?If you also call him as the next goalscorer for each goal, you bank the normal 10-point payout for each on top - so it shows spread across the goals: 10, then 30 (20 + 10 re-pick), then 50 (40 + 10 re-pick) - 90 for a hat-trick (180 on a 2× match). A 4th goal (and any beyond) just pays the flat 10 re-pick since the bonus is already maxed out, so a four-goal haul re-picked all the way is 10 / 30 / 50 / 10 = 100.Didn't call him first?Picking him for a later goal just pays the standard 10 points per correct call - the doubling bonus only kicks in when he was your first-goalscorer pick.

What is a correct score prediction?

You predict the exact final scoreline of the match - for example, 2–1 to the home side. Correct score is the highest-points market on CalledItMate and must be locked in before kick-off. Once the match starts, the score market closes. If you get the exact final score right, you earn the maximum points payout.

What is Next Team to Score?

Next Team to Score is a rolling in-play market. Before each goal you predict which side scores next - home or away - regardless of which player. Once a goal goes in, the market resets and you can make a new call for the next goal. It's quicker than naming an individual goalscorer and earns a separate points bonus each time you get it right.

What is a Half Result prediction?

Half Result lets you predict the outcome of each half independently - home win, draw or away win. The First Half prediction must be locked in before kick-off and is graded at half-time. The Second Half prediction locks at half-time and is graded at full time. You earn points for each half you get right.

What is a Highest Scoring Half prediction?

Highest Scoring Half is a pre-match prediction where you call whether more goals will be scored in the first half, the second half, or whether both halves will have equal goals. It must be locked in before kick-off and is graded at full time.

What is the Corners market?

Corners is a per-half market. For each half you predict whether there will be over or under 2.5 corners in that half. The first-half line locks in at kick-off; the second-half line locks at half-time. Each half you call correctly is worth 10 points.

What is the Shots on Target market?

Shots on Target is a per-half market. For each half you predict whether there will be over or under 3.5 shots on target. The first-half line locks at kick-off and the second-half line locks at half-time. Each half you get right is worth 10 points.

What is the Most Possession market?

Most Possession is a pre-match call: which team will have more of the ball across the 90 minutes. Lock it in before kick-off - it's graded at full time and worth 5 points. If possession data isn't available for a match, the market is voided and you lose no points.

What is the First Team Booked market?

First Team Booked is a pre-match call on which team gets the first yellow or red card - home, away, or 'no cards' if the match stays clean. Lock it in before kick-off. It's worth 5 points, and is voided if the data isn't available for a match.

When do I get my points?

Points are awarded in real time - the moment the match event happens and your call is confirmed correct. You don't wait for full time. A correct goalscorer call earns points as soon as that goal is registered. A correct final score earns points when the match ends. You can watch your total update live.

Can I predict after kick-off?

It depends on the market. Most must be locked in before kick-off - Correct Score, First Half Result, Highest Scoring Half, the first-half Corners and Shots on Target lines, Most Possession and First Team Booked. Second Half Result and the second-half Corners and Shots lines lock at half-time. Goalscorer and Next Team to Score are live in-play markets that stay open throughout the match - they reset after every goal, giving you new prediction windows right up until the final whistle.

What happens if a match is postponed or abandoned?

If a match is postponed before it starts, any predictions you made are voided and you will not lose or gain points. If a match is abandoned mid-game, we will update the match status and handle predictions fairly based on what had already been resolved.

Leaderboard & Seasons

How does the leaderboard work?

Every point you earn from predictions across all matches counts toward your season total. The leaderboard ranks all players by their total points for the current season. It updates in real time - make a correct call on a live match and your rank can move instantly.

What is a season?

A season is a set competition period, typically one month. At the end of the season the leaderboard is locked, winners are identified and prizes are paid out. A new season then begins and everyone starts from zero. Season start and end dates are always visible on the Prizes page.

Is there a minimum predictions requirement to qualify for prizes?

Yes - you need to make a minimum number of predictions during the season to be eligible for a prize. The exact threshold is shown on the Prizes page and is typically 20 predictions. This prevents someone winning from a single lucky call.

Can I see my own prediction history?

Yes - your prediction history is available in your account. You can see every call you've made, which ones were correct, and how many points each earned.

Prizes & Payments

What prizes can I win?

The top 3 players on the seasonal leaderboard win real cash every month. The prize pool varies by season, so the exact amounts for the current season are always shown on the Prizes page. CalledItMate is free to play - there's no entry fee.

How are winners paid?

Winners are contacted directly by CalledItMate once the season closes. We'll reach out to the top 3 and arrange payment in whatever way works best for you - PayPal, bank transfer, crypto, or another method you prefer. No vouchers, no platform credits, just a direct payment to you.

Where does the prize money come from?

Prize money comes directly from Denver - the developer and football YouTuber behind CalledItMate. It's a personal investment in the community he's spent five years building through live football watchalongs - there's no big backer, no investors, just someone who genuinely loves the game and wants to make watching it more rewarding. The longer-term goal is to bring in sponsors or, once the platform is large enough, explore a proper gambling licence that would allow bigger, formally regulated prize pools. Until then, the prizes are funded by Denver himself and paid directly to winners each season.

Is this gambling?

No. CalledItMate is a free-to-play prediction game - you do not stake any money. There is nothing to deposit, no bets placed and no wager required. Prizes are gifted by the platform operator, not won through gambling. CalledItMate does not currently hold a gambling licence.

The Platform

Which leagues are covered?

CalledItMate covers a huge range of competitions - from the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 through to domestic cups, lower divisions and leagues from around the world. The coverage is near-comprehensive and growing. The full list of currently active competitions is at calleditmate.com/football.

Who built CalledItMate?

CalledItMate was built by Denveloper - a developer and football content creator on YouTube with almost 60,000 subscribers, who has been running live football watchalongs for the past five years. CalledItMate grew out of that community and is built and maintained as a solo project, combining professional software development skills with a genuine love of the game.

Will CalledItMate stay free?

Yes. The prediction game itself will always be free to play. Future development may introduce optional features or sponsorship, but the core experience - making predictions, earning points, competing on the leaderboard - will remain free.
