What is CalledItMate?

The game

CalledItMate is a free real-time football prediction platform where you predict across five markets - goalscorers, correct scores, next team to score, half results and highest scoring half - across the world's biggest leagues. Points are awarded the instant the game confirms your call, not at full time and not the next day.

Correct Score, First Half Result and Highest Scoring Half must be locked in before kick-off. Second Half Result locks at half-time. Goalscorer and Next Team to Score are live in-play markets that reset after every goal, giving you new prediction windows right up until the final whistle.

Your points accumulate across every match and count toward your position on the seasonal leaderboard. The top 3 players at the end of each monthly season win real cash prizes - typically £100, £60 and £40. Nothing to pay, ever.

Where it started

CalledItMate started life as DenvOracle - a YouTube chat bot running inside live football watchalongs on the Denveloper channel. Viewers would type their predictions directly into the live chat, the bot would track them, and anyone who called it right would earn points in real time.

The energy was electric. People were genuinely invested in every goal, every save, every VAR check - because they had something riding on it. Not money, just bragging rights and the thrill of being proven right in front of thousands of people watching live.

The problem was scale. A chat bot can only handle so many predictions before things get messy. The idea of turning it into a proper standalone platform had been brewing for a while, and in 2024 CalledItMate was born - a full web app that could handle every match, every league, every prediction market, with real-time scoring and a proper competitive structure.

Who built it

CalledItMate was built by Denver (Denveloper) - a software developer and football content creator on YouTube with almost 60,000 subscribers. He has been running live football watchalongs for five years, and CalledItMate grew directly out of that community.

The idea was simple: make every moment of a match matter. That feedback loop - call it, watch it happen, see the points land - is what makes the difference between passive watching and genuinely being in the game.

The platform is built and maintained as a solo project, combining professional software development skills with a genuine love of football. Every prize comes out of Denver's own pocket - no backers, no investors, no gambling operation behind it.

How it works

CalledItMate tracks hundreds of live matches simultaneously, pulling real-time data from professional football data feeds. When a goal is scored, the system detects it within seconds, grades every relevant prediction instantly, and updates points across the leaderboard in real time.

The platform handles VAR reversals, score corrections and postponements automatically. If a goal is disallowed, any points awarded for that goal are reversed immediately. Everything is designed to be fair, transparent and instant.

CalledItMate covers over 50 football competitions - from the Premier League and Champions League through to La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, domestic cups, and leagues from South America, Turkey, the Netherlands and beyond. On a typical matchday the system tracks dozens of live matches simultaneously, processing thousands of predictions in real time.

Why it's free

CalledItMate has always been free and will stay that way. The prediction game itself - making calls, earning points, competing on the leaderboard - will never cost anything.

The prizes are a personal investment in the community. Long term, the goal is to bring in sponsors or, once the platform is large enough, explore a proper gambling licence that would allow bigger formally regulated prize pools. Until then, Denver funds every season himself and pays winners directly.
