Match Report
Minnesota United and Seattle Sounders FC played out a goalless draw in MLS on 22 March 2026, a hard-fought stalemate that left both sides frustrated but defensively resolute. The hosts came into the contest at Allianz Field looking to build on recent form, while the visitors arrived from the Pacific Northwest with ambitions of taking three points on the road.
From the opening whistle, Minnesota United pressed high and looked to exploit space in behind Seattle's defensive line, with their attacking players combining well in the final third but struggling to carve out clear-cut chances when it mattered most. The Sounders, never a side short of quality in possession, answered with patient build-up play of their own, probing for openings and testing the discipline of the home backline throughout the first half.
