Eighteen goals in six games, and at least two in every single one of them. That is the run Inter take into Sunday's Serie A meeting with Fiorentina, who have had three or more goals in the game in five of their own last six. Something will give at San Siro, and on current evidence it is unlikely to be the scoreboard.
Inter vs Fiorentina kicks off at 11:30 GMT on Sunday 25 October 2026 at San Siro in Milan, in Serie A. Cristian Chivu's side are at home; Paolo Vanoli's Fiorentina are the visitors.
Full details and the prediction page are at Inter vs Fiorentina.
Inter have won four, drawn one and lost one of their last six matches, collecting 13 points, scoring 18 and conceding 10. The scoring end of that is relentless: two or more in all six, no blank, and three or more goals in the game five times.
The defending is a different story. Three of those six saw Inter concede twice or more, and the worst of it came at home - a 3-4 defeat to Club Brugge KV in the UEFA Champions League on 13 October. Four days later they went to Bologna and won 3-1. Before that, 3-0 at home to Parma, 2-2 away at AS Roma, and a 5-3 win over Udinese.
So they have kept two clean sheets in six and still shipped 10 goals. At San Siro the record is three wins from four.
Fiorentina have won two, drawn one and lost three of their last six, taking seven points with 11 scored and 10 conceded. Their last outing was a 1-3 home defeat to Como on 18 October, seven days before this match, and the one before that a 1-2 loss away to Genoa.
