Match Report
Atlanta United and DC United played out a frustrating goalless draw in their MLS clash at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on 21 March 2026, a result that will feel like a missed opportunity for both sides.
The hosts controlled long spells of possession in the first half but struggled to carve open a well-organised DC United defensive block, with the visitors happy to absorb pressure and threaten on the counter. The pivotal moment arrived right on the stroke of half time when Igor Jesus latched onto a through ball inside the area, only to see his effort ruled out for offside after a lengthy check — a decision that visibly deflated the travelling support and shifted momentum heading into the break.
