Liverpool vs Brighton Prediction & Preview - Premier League
Brighton & Hove Albion have won their last six matches and conceded two goals in the whole run. Liverpool have won five of their last six and shipped 11 along the way. Both sides are winning, both are scoring, and only one of them is keeping the ball out, which is what makes Liverpool FC v Brighton & Hove Albion the most interesting Premier League game of the weekend rather than a routine home win waiting to happen.

What time is kick-off and what TV channel is Liverpool vs Brighton on?
Liverpool FC v Brighton & Hove Albion kicks off at 14:00 GMT on Sunday 25 October 2026 at Anfield in Liverpool, and the Premier League match is on Sky Sports Premier League in the UK, with build-up from 12:30 according to TV Guide.
Brighton & Hove Albion have won six in a row
Six wins, 18 points, 22 goals scored and two conceded. Five clean sheets. Brighton have scored two or more in all six of those matches and have won three of three away from home.
The sequence is not padded out by weak opposition either. Fabian Hürzeler's side beat Crystal Palace 5-0 at home 7 days before this match, won 2-0 away at Sunderland, and beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Amex 36 days out. The one match in the run where they conceded twice, a 3-2 win away at Manchester United in the EFL Cup, they still won.
Only one of those six games had both sides scoring. Teams are not getting a foothold.
Liverpool have won five of six but conceded 11
Liverpool's run reads won 5, lost 1, 15 points, 16 scored, 11 conceded. One clean sheet. They have conceded two or more in three of the six, and five of the six have finished with three or more goals in the game.
That is a side playing entertaining football and a side you can get at. The 4-3 win over Villarreal in the Champions League came 5 days before this fixture, the 6-3 at LASK 11 days before, and in between a 2-1 at Brentford. Away from home they have won three of three. At Anfield they have won two of three, and the loss was a 0-3 to Manchester City 14 days before this match - the only time in the run they failed to score.
Brighton have faced nothing this autumn as open as Liverpool, and Liverpool have faced nothing as organised as Brighton.
Team news
Liverpool are without Jeremie Frimpong, who picked up a muscle injury within minutes of coming on last weekend and is not expected back before the November international break, while Dominik Szoboszlai is a doubt after a recurrence in the same area, and Conor Bradley, Giovanni Leoni and Hugo Ekitike remain longer-term absentees, per Last Word on Sports. Brighton are missing Kaoru Mitoma, Evan Ferguson, Stefanos Tzimas, Femi Azeez and Zadok Yohanna, with Pascal Struijk nursing a hamstring problem, though Hürzeler told Sports Mole: "With Yankuba Minteh and Mats Wieffer, we could see quite a quick return. For Kaoru Mitoma, I hope he's back for the international break (in November), but we have to be more patient." Hürzeler has also said of Wieffer, via Yahoo Sports: "I think he's getting closer...not for this weekend, but then afterwards there will definitely be an option."
Liverpool FC vs Brighton & Hove Albion prediction
Our prediction for Liverpool FC v Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League at Anfield is a 1-2 Brighton win. Brighton have scored two or more in six of six and conceded two goals in total across that run, and they have won all three of their away matches in it. Liverpool have conceded two or more in three of their last six and kept one clean sheet, which against this Brighton attack is the problem. Anfield makes it close rather than comfortable.
